Our Story

House To Home OwnersOnce upon a time, in a far off land called Lindenhurst, a happy family of four lived and loved for each other. All creative and friendly, the family members each set out in the world to make it a prettier, happier place in which to live. Some painted houses. Some designed clothing. Some decorated homes. Some personalized furniture and gifts with hand-painted art. And some did all of these things!

One day, the eldest of the two daughters of the creative family was strolling the streets of a nearby village called Babylon when she came upon the cutest, quaintest empty store-front. She knew instantly that she could transform this adorable but lonely space into a cozy shoppe where she could make her dreams come true while helping the villagers make their own homes the gorgeous retreats they hope for.

So the daughter went home to share her exciting news with her family and they all joined her in her quest. Together, the family created a new business in the village with the perfect name for their dream: House to Home. They knew that they could use their vision, creativity, training, and experience to turn their customers' houses into warm, cherished homes that reflect their own individual styles.

The family worked tirelessly to transform the space. They shopped for the perfect items to fill the store. They painted and primped and added all the charming elements they thought the villagers would need. But, lo and behold, though the opening of the store was met with huge success, the space was too small to meet the needs of all the people who came to ask for their design and decorating help.

So the family moved their store just up the street – because they loved being a part of the vibrant community they found in Babylon. They quadrupled the size of their store and brought in more furniture and pretty things and the store became over flowing with perfect decorating items.

To better serve the needs of their growing and loyal clientele, they also expanded their "family" to include dear friends who were equally interested in making beautiful homes a reality. Soon, House to Home became an integral part of the village community, with people returning again and again to browse, to shop, and to chat and catch up with the family and their lives.

Now, word has spread across the lands and travelers come from near and far to be a part of House to Home. They purchase beautiful, quality furniture for every room; luxurious bedding and loungewear to pamper themselves and loved ones; fragrant scents for their baths and rooms; unique lighting fixtures to create warm, homey moods; unusual frames to display treasured photos of their family and friends; and all the right decorating elements to complete their homes' transformations.

The daughter and her creative family sit back and bask in the joy they've found in helping the villagers and travelers turn their houses into the homes of their dreams. And they know that as long as the people keep coming and asking for their help, they'll all live happily ever after.
